Overview:
An ITI Fitter is responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in accordance with blueprints, drawings, and schematics. They work in a variety of industrial settings, including manufacturing plants, construction sites, and repair shops.
Responsibilities:
To begin, the ITI Fitter will be responsible for assembling and fitting mechanical components, such as shafts, bearings, and gears, using hand and power tools. They will then install and align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, and hand tools. In addition, the ITI Fitter will be required to inspect and troubleshoot machinery and equipment to identify any faults or defects.
Moreover, they will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and keeping accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed. The ITI Fitter will also need to follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure that all machinery and equipment are safe and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
