Job Summary:

We are seeking a Male CAD Engineer with experience in Solidworks software to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and designing 2D and 3D models, generating engineering drawings and documentation, and collaborating with other teams to ensure design accuracy. The candidate will also need to ensure the quality of designs using measuring instruments, provide technical support to production teams, and improve design processes.

This is a full-time position with office hours from 9:30 to 6:30, and the salary range for this position is up to 30k. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in Solidworks with an intermediate or above proficiency level, a basic knowledge of engineering drawings, familiarity with measuring instruments like vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges, a diploma in mechanical engineering, and basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and design 2D and 3D models using Solidworks software
• Generate engineering drawings and documentation for manufacturing and production purposes
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the designs
• Utilize measuring instruments to ensure the quality of the designs
• Provide technical support to the production team
• Continuously improve design processes and procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Solidworks with an intermediate or above proficiency level
• Fundamental knowledge of engineering drawings
• Experience with measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
• Minimum qualification of a diploma in mechanical engineering
• Intermediate or above proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
