Senior Accountant

Salary Range: 35k to 65k

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and competent Senior Accountant to join our team in Surat. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial activities of the organization, including but not limited to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, and auditing.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for the organization
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Develop and maintain accounting procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Manage the budgeting and forecasting process to ensure financial goals are met
Coordinate and prepare for annual audits and manage relationships with external auditors
Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance, including tax filings and payments
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Supervise and manage a team of accountants to ensure high-quality work and efficient operations

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA or CA certification preferred
5+ years of experience in a senior accounting role
Thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks and priorities
