Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database architecture and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization’s databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the organization’s databases
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot database issues
- Implement and maintain database security protocols
- Install and configure database software
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure project deadlines are met
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in database administration
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in database administration
- Strong knowledge of database architecture and SQL
- Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
- Understanding of database security best practices and protocols
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of
